Anna Maria Island, FLA

On Friday, we left Orlando and made the short trip to my sister's in Bradenton, FLA.  While we were there, we were blessed with some warm weather and took the kids to Anna Maria Island for some time at the beach.   The water was a chilly 63 degrees, but that didn't stop Will.  He dove right in.  Susan, on the other hand, stuck one toe in and was out of there.

Susan looking at a starfish that a woman found along the beach.

After the kids were done in the ocean and Will's lips were blue, we headed over to the playground to run around and thaw out.

Lunch time and ice cream

As I mentioned above, Susan didn't want anything to do with the ocean.  She was quite content to sit in the beach chair and eat her lollipop.  Something tells me that she got all the brains in the family.

Here's Will waiting for the perfect wave...
