Florida-Day 1 Disney's Magic Kingdom

The first week of December found us headed south for warmer weather and a little vacation.  We met up with my sister and her family for 3 days in Orlando at Disney and Sea World.  On our first day, we headed to Magic Kingdom, home of Mickey Mouse and Cinderella's Castle.
Jen, Rich, Tyler, and Jack on the Jungle River Cruise.

Will was not a fan of the rides at Magic Kingdom, but the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House was a big hit.  We walked and climbed through it at least 5 times.  Of course now he wants one for our house...

Both of the kids loved meeting the characters and having their pictures made.  Here they are with the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella.

Disney at Christmas time was absolutely magical.  This is Cinderella's Castle at night.  The only major meltdown Susan had while we were at Magic Kingdom was in front of the Castle.  She wanted to go in so bad and find Cinderella.  Can you blame her?

Susan and I stayed late Tuesday night for Mickey's Merry Christmas Party which included a parade.  Even though it was cold and we were bundled up, Susan had a great time.  Her eyes lit up when she saw Cinderella's carriage with Cinderella and the Prince.  Snow White followed shortly after as well as Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Aeriel.  She was soooo excited!
